Hanging Around At Hollywood Studios

After starting the day late and having our first meal at the Polynesian Resort's Captain Cook, we took the bus to the Hollywood Studios Theme Park.

Once there, we mulled around the park, saw the Muppets 3D and then watched the Osborne lights for a while, but I got disenchanted with the rudeness of the people, so we headed toward the Tower of Terror / Rock N Roller Coaster area, and stopped at the market to grab a bite, and met up with Karl and Terri Rosenhan.

After eating at the market, (nothing to rave about), the four of us went back to the Osborne lights. The crowd had dissipated somewhat because the park had closed to only those that were staying at the resorts. It was much more enjoyable watching the lights.

We parted from the Rosenhans and went back to the Tower Of Terror / Rock N Roller Coaster area for our thrill seeking for the evening. We hit the Tower of Terror and there was no wait at all. Then we stood in line maybe about 10 minutes for the Rock N Roller Coaster.

After getting a little fill of thrill, we headed back to our suite at The Grandstands section of the Saratoga Springs resort.

Yesterday turned out to be a great day, even if we started out late.

Captain Cook - A Really Nice Counter Service

We made it to the Polynesian Resort in just one bus ride. When we got to our bus stop outside our suite at the Grandstands in Saratoga Springs, the bus for Magic Kingdom was pulling up.

While I was putting the wheelchair in the back door, Cindy was climbing thru the front, crutches and all. she mentioned to the bus driver that we were going to the Polynesian Resort via Magic Kingdom.

Well, as Disney Magic would have it, no one else got on the bus, so... The bus driver took us straight to the Polynesian Resort.

Only in Disney World! :-)

The reviews about Captain Cook were right on the money - the food was very tasty.

Definitely recommended as great counter service if you're on any Disney Dining Plan, or great sandwich shop if you're paying cash.
